PowerCalc is a shareware calculator for Mac OS unlike any you've ever seen! With PowerCalc, you can easily calculate dozens of mathematical functions and operations. PowerCalc has a user-friendly, intuitive interface. It has complete balloon help, so if you're not sure what a button does, just turn on balloon help and point to it. PowerCalc supports standard, scientific, and engineering notations and can perform any of twenty-four trigonometric functions in either degree or radian mode. PowerCalc can store any four numbers in memory and can be recall them at any time. They're even saved after you've quit the program! Input may be from the mouse or keyboard, and PowerCalc even has a backscape button in case you accidently input the wrong digit!

Registration
PowerCalc is not a free program. If you use it, please pay the $15 shareware fee to get the registration code. A site license may be purchased for $250 and covers all locations for your organization within 100 miles of your site. One big advantage of a site license is that you do not need to keep track of how many people at your site are using the software. A world-wide license costs $500 and covers all locations for your organization on the planet earth.
Paying for PowerCalc is very simple. Open the Register program that accompanies PowerCalc. Enter your name, e-mail address, and number of single user licenses you wish to buy (or site or world-wide licenses). Save or print the data from the Register program and send the data and payment to Kagi at the address below:

Kagi handles my payment processing. If you choose to pay with a credit card or First Virtual, you may e-mail or fax the data to Kagi. Their e-mail address is sales@kagi.com, and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either copy the data from the Register program and paste it into the body of an e-mail message or save the data to a file and attach it to an e-mail message. There is no need to compress the data file; it's already pretty small.
Payments sent via e-mail are processed within three to four days. You will receive an e-mail acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to ten days. If you are paying with cash or USD check, you should print the data from the Register program and send it to Kagi at the address above. You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries, but if you pay with a check, it must be drawn in US dollars.
If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then select "Invoice" as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of the form with their payment. Kagi cannot invoice your company; you need to act on my behalf and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.
Please do not fax or e-mail payment forms that indicate cash, check, or invoice as the payment method. As far as I know, there is still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or e-mail, and without the payment, the form cannot be processed. Payments sent via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to ten days for processing. If you include a correct e-mail address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.
After your form is processed, Kagi will notify me that you have registered, and I will e-mail you the registered version of the program. If you do not have an e-mail address, please enter your complete postal address and include an extra $5 to be sent a floppy disk with the registered version.

PowerCalc is ｩ1999 by John Mauro. It may be freely copied and distributed, but this "About PowerCalc" file and the Register program must be included with it. PowerCalc is available "as is." I am not responsible for any damage caused by the use of this program.
